  • Number of workers

Job description With the signing of the agreement, we start searching for personnel for you.

Once the offer is confirmed, we begin searching for the desired staff. At this stage, we also kindly request an advance payment (a portion of your total cost). If we do not find the agreed set of candidates within the agreed timeframe, we will refund the advance payment.

3. Gathering all necessary information for the staff search.

4. Preparation of the candidate pool.

5. Interviews with candidates and selection of candidate(s).

6. If needed, we can also assist you with: Accommodation search, assistance with documentation, registrations, single permits or work permits, and arrangements for tax residency.

7. Arrival of the new employee(s).

8. Payment of the remaining amount according to the contract/offer within 30 days. If the worker does not meet the requirements, you can reject them, and a new candidate will be prepared for you within the agreed timeframe.

Of course! We have experience with employing Filipinos in Slovenia and will be happy to assist you throughout the entire process. Hiring Filipinos takes a little longer compared to, for example, hiring staff from Serbia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, etc.

This greatly depends on the country from which you intend to hire a foreign worker, as well as whether you already have a candidate selected or if we need to source a pool of candidates for you. You can contact us for more detailed information regarding hiring foreigners from specific countries, and we will gladly provide you with an estimate of your costs. To prepare a specific offer, we would need the following information from your side:

  • Job positions for the new employees (the characteristics must be clearly specified so we know exactly what we are looking for), the number of positions, and the gross salary you have planned for each role.
  • Do you need assistance in arranging all necessary documentation and permits for the workers to start working for you?
  • Do you have accommodation available for the workers, or would you need assistance with this?

Everything depends on the agreement and your specific needs or preferences, as well as the country from which the foreign worker is being employed. We guide you through the entire process. Besides the usual employment conditions required by current Slovenian legislation, you must also ensure the following for each foreign worker:

  • Accommodation
  • Transportation to Slovenia
  • At least a 1-year employment contract
  • All documentation related to the commencement of employment at your company (e.g., single permits or work permits, visa, registrations, tax residency, etc. — depending on the country the employee comes from).

It depends on the type of staff we are looking for, the number of candidates, the country, and how quickly we receive the necessary information from your side. Our experience shows that the process usually takes between 1.5 months (former Yugoslav countries) and 5 months (Philippines). The timeframe truly depends on each case and may vary greatly — it can be faster if you already have pre-selected candidates you wish to employ, but it can also take longer, especially if the role requires very specific qualifications.

  • When hiring foreign workers, several specific considerations apply:
    Employment must be offered with a contract lasting at least 1 year (potentially longer, depending on the worker’s country of origin).
  • Leave and meal allowances must comply with current Slovenian legislation.
  • Salary expectations vary depending on the type of position.
  • Transportation or an airfare to Slovenia must be provided.

The selection of candidates is mostly carried out via video call. First, we make a shortlist of candidates, and then we involve the employer. We always agree with you on the level of expertise, education, and other characteristics of the candidates that are acceptable for your needs. To ensure greater success in attracting candidates, we usually define an acceptable range of these characteristics together with you, which we adhere to when preparing the candidate pool. Once we provide you with the shortlist, you conduct the interviews and skill assessments with the candidates according to your preferences and requirements.
